With the PlayStation 5 Pro releasing on November 7, Insomiac has been keen to update two of their best games on the console. Both Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart and Marvel's Spider-Man 2 are ready to take full advantage of the console.
There will be two new modes: Performance Pro and Fidelity Pro. The first offers the same image quality as the standard fidelity mode for the base console but with 60 FPS thanks to the PSSR, while the latter has a 30 FPS mode with enhanced ray tracing.
Insomniac is not the only studio to anticipate this new system: The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered and Alan Wake 2 have been updated too.
