Masahiro Sakurai has been working on a new game since April 2022

Best known for his work on the Super Smash Bros. license, Masahiro Sakurai has also made a name for himself on YouTube with a long series of videos.

The Japanese creator released the final one this week, and did so with a tease of his next game. Indeed, Sakurai stated that production of this title began in April 2022.

Sakurai said nothing more apart from the fact that the project "should be announced sooner or later", given that development has now been going on for two and a half years.
