Production of God of War TV series will start from scratch
, by Thibaut
In a recent article, Variety has claimed that the TV adaptation of God of War by Prime Video is far from done.
Indeed, showrunner Rafe Judkins and executive producers Hawk Ostby and Mark Fergus have left the project. It's important to note that Cory Barlog is still involved, as are Santa Monica president Yumi Yang and PlayStation Productions executive Asad Qizilbash.
Also, while several scripts have already been written, none will be kept as Sony intends to go in a different direction. All work done for the adaptation will be started from scatch.
