, by Thibaut
In a lengthy article on the PlayStation Blog, Julian Huijbregts, Head of Communication on Nixxes Software, talks about the new graphics of Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered.
Among the improvements made we got some denser vegetation and more realistic foliage. The level of quality is now similar to that of Horizon Forbidden West.
The world itself has been redesigned, with more NPCs that have new places to work, sit or stand and more varied scheduled.
What's more, all the materials used on the terrain have been redesigned using the Horizon Forbidden West ones. Snow, sand and the like are now deformable.
Animations have been reworked with the addition of 10 hours of motion capture. This will make for livelier conversations between characters. The lighting is even more realistic, as are the characters, whose models have been considerably improved. The quality of hair, outfits, skin tone and detail in general will be better.
