The development of the next Dragon Age is stumbling... announced in December 2018, the fourth installment of the series reappeared two years later before completely disappearing from the radar. So much so that no gameplay footage has been shown so far.
Thus, BioWare seems to be gradually heading toward a dead end. Electronic Arts is well aware of this, and the American publisher has made strong decisions. First of all, Mark Darrah, the former producer of the Dragon Age series, has come out of retirement to help his former colleagues in a consulting role. On the other hand, the team in charge of the next Mass Effect is now lending a hand to the one in charge of Dreadwolf.
Finally, a small group led by Mike Gamble remains focused on the pre-production of this highly anticipated fifth Mass Effect. Recall that the latter was officially announced in December 2020
