FIFA joins forces with Konami and eFootball for the next FIFAe World Cup eSports

Here's something that was almost unimaginable back in the days of the great rivalry between FIFA and PES. But since Electronic Arts has decided to part ways with FIFA and do EA Sports FC, the international football federation will be joining forces with Konami.

As a result, eFootball (formerly PES) will be played at the next two FIFAe World Cups this year on both mobile and console platforms.

For the moment, this is only taking shape on an eSport level. Nevertheless, it represents a major apprimation between two former rivals.
