Last August, Krafton saved Tango Gameworks from disappearing, and in the process the goy the rights to Hi-Fi RUSH. In an interview with GamesIndustry.biz, Maria Park, the publisher's head of development, spoke at length about it all.
She began by stating that Krafton had only picked up the Hi-Fi RUSH franchise. The Evil Within and Ghostwire: Tokyo are still propierty of Microsoft. As for Hi-Fi RUSH 2, at the time of the takeover, the South Korean publisher saw a six-month-old version of the game.
Development was then put on hold following the acquisition of the license and in order to transfer tools and assets between Microsoft and Krafton.
