Ubisoft shares keep plummeting after the Assassin's Creed Shadows delay
, by Thibaut
Ubisoft has been on the very verge of disaster this week. The last few hours have been very eventful for the publisher, what with the delay of Assassin's Creed Shadows to next February and its new strategy of releasing all games day one on Steam from now on.
These announcements, coupled with the bomba of Star Wars Outlaws sales, had an immediate effect on the company's stock market listing. At the time of writing, Ubisoft's share price stands at just €9.23, down from €12.91 on September 19.
The drop is estimated at over 19% in just 24 hours. It's even more than 60% year-on-year. As a result, Ubisoft now has a market capitalization of €1.27 billion, compared with €1.99 billion some three weeks ago.
