Ubisoft is going through turmoil and launches an internal investigation

Things at Ubisoft are far from calm following the recent announcements. Yves Guillemot, the company's CEO, explained his position at length in an internal statement that Insider Gaming has obtained.

The French executive spoke of the delay of Assassin's Creed Shadows, Star Wars Outlaws coming to Steam and his intention to bring all games day and date to Valve's platform.

Guillemto wants his teams to keep "fine-tuning our games and delivering outstanding gameplay" with the aim to create "the best games in the industry". He adds that the company's management "will focus on accelerating the improvement of our production, communication and publishing practices". Ubisoft also wants to "put gamers at the heart of all our decisions".

Also, the CEO stated that "this setback should not discourage us, but serve as a learning experience and drive us to act more quickly".

Still, this has not prevented Ubisoft's Board of Directors and Executive Committee from launching an internal investigation to improve its "player-centric approach ”, all with a view to creating a model that will be more beneficial to shareholders.
