Nintendo could make the SNES mouse compatible with the Switch Online games
, by Thibaut
The Japanese company is always keen to bring back old peripherals for its modern consoles. Thus, the Super Nintendo mouse could soon return.
Indeed, the rather reliable dataminer LuigiBlood has found evidence pointing to this within the Nintendo Switch Online backend. According to him, the SNES emulator has supported the famous Super Nintendo mouse since launch.
And that's not all. A recent update was also made to the emulator's code to improve this compatibility. So, it wouldn't be surprising to see Nintendo bring back the mouse for sale in the coming weeks.
