The devs of console version of Minecraft announce a new open-world survival game

4JStudios is the Scottish company behind Minecraft on consoles. After having made these ports, the studio is going to create its own game, which will of course be inspired by Mojang's title.
The title is Reforj, an open-world multiplayer title with survival elements. 4JStudios founder Chris van der Kuyl says he wants to build the game with the help of the community. With this new IP, he hopes to transform the genre thanks to the in-house engine on which the team relies.
They will put lots of emphasis on the community aspect of Reforj, and the studio hopes to offer a playable pre-alpha version very soon.
