The PS5 version of Redfall has been canceled after Bethesda's acquisition by Microsoft

The purchase of ZeniMax Media (the parent company of Bethesda Softworks) had an impact on the development of some games. This was the case with Redfall, for example. Indeed, Arkane Studios' title was not at all exclusive to the Xbox ecosystem and PC before this acquisition.

In a recent statement, Redfall's game director, Harvey Smith, explained that a PS5 version was in the works. But when Xbox took over Bethesda Softworks, this version was abandoned and the developers then focused on Microsoft platforms.
