According to a former Rockstar employee, GTA VI could delayed until May 2025

The anticipation surrounding Grand Theft Auto VI is so high that rumors about a hypothetical delay are making all the Internet go crazy. Obbe Vermeij, a former technical director at Rockstar, has spoken out on the subject.

In a message on X.com, he states that the delay of GTA IV was only decided four months before the initial release date. Although this was already more than 16 years ago, Vermeij uses this example to explain that Take-Two could be making a decision until next May, since GTA VI is scheduled for launch in autumn 2025.

Finally, the former employee adds that such a delay woulnd't have any consequences for the publisher, given that the game will sell for years to come.
