Noboru Hotta, a developer known for working on games such as Lumines, Meteos and Rez, has just announced that he is working on a new game called Twin Souls.
It's an action-adventure title drawing inspiration from the Japanese mythos with quite the ambitious focus, trying to capture what is art in video games for Hotta. The game revolves around a human duo experiencing different forms of love while observing the world from different perspectives.
The development of Twin Souls is made possible by Game Creator Funding, an indie game incubator co-founded by Tokyu Land Corporation and Skeleton Crew Studio. For the time being, Noboru Hotta has announced that the game will release on 2026 for PC and other platforms yet to be confirmed.
