Microsoft has announced on its social networks that friend requests are coming back to Xbox. Soon, users will get to accept or deny friend requests, as well as follow and be followed by other users.
It's currently being tested by members of the Xbox Insiders program, and should be rolled out to the rest later this year.
In addition, Microsoft has clarified that friends already on your account will be automatically updated and remain in your list after the update.
