AMD aims to unify the RDNA and CDNA architectures to create larger GPUs

AMD has announced an interesting change for the future of its GPUs. The company plans to unify its two current architectures: the RDNA, dedicated to gaming, and the CDNA, designed for data centers.

This merger would give rise to a new architecture, the UDNA, which would allow devs to concentrate on a single system rather than a few.

For the moment, there's no date yet for this new architecture, but it will surely take some time.
