PS5 Pro launches on November 7 at the hefty price of €799.99

At long last, Sony has announced the PS5 Pro. For ten minutes or so, Mark Cerny, the PS5's system architect, outlined the capabilities of this new model.
The aim of the PS5 Pro is to allow gamers to avoid having to choose between a performance or a quality mode, so as to offer the best of both worlds at once. To achieve this, the console features a CPU up to 45% more powerful, advanced ray tracing and an AI-based upscaling technique called PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution, or PSSR for short.
We saw the PS5 Pro in action on a number of games, like Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Marvel's Spider-Man 2, The Last of Us Part II: Remastered and Gran Turismo 7.
This mid-gen refresh will be released on November 7, 2024. Alas, the price tag will be quite steep, at €799.99 / $699.99 / £699.99 without a disk drive, though it comes with 2TB of storage.
