The console version of Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered will be censored in Japan

In an interview with GameSpark, Suda51, co-creator of Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered, revealed that the game will be censored in Japan.

Indeed, CERO has decided to censor parts of the title for console versions only, as you don't need to consult the Japanese classification body to release a PC game on Japanese country.

"If regional restrictions are imposed, we have no choice but to respect them, but I always wonder what the player thinks. For example, if a lot of people buy the PC version on Steam because they want to play it without restrictions, that would be a bit sad, given that the game is available on many platforms."

"I wonder who these restrictions are aimed at - at least, I don't think they're aimed at the customers who play the game."
