Here's a big milestone anniversary for the tech and hardware world, the NVIDIA's GeForce 256, often cited as the world's first GPU, celebrates its 25th anniversary.
Back on August 31, 1999, NVIDIA announced this graphics card, which featured 23 million transistors, 32 MB of VRAM, a 128-bit memory bus for a bandwith of 4,8 Gb/s and a clock speed of 120 MHz.
