The PS5 Pro gets leaked with a sketch ahead of a September reveal
, by Thibaut
Insider billbil-kun has let the cat out of the bag regarding the info he got about the new PS5 model.
First of all, even if it was to be expected, it will be called the PS5 Pro. While the main party involved claims to have a image of the machine's final look, he can't share it because of copyright issues. However, we got a glimpse of the console thanks to a sketch (present at the bottom of the article).
The PS5 Pro will be slightly thicker than the PS5 Slim, with the traditional white scheme, two USB-C ports and the power button on its front panel. There are also three black stripes on the outside.
Another important detail is that the PS5 Pro doesn't come with a Blu-ray unit. It remains to be seen whether there will be a model with a drive, but the PS5 Slim's removable disc drive should be compatible. It comes with the usual DualSense controller.
Last but not least, the console could be announced in the first half of September.
