Konami talks about bringing Metal Gear Solid 4 to modern platforms
, by Thibaut
Released back in 2008 exclusively for the PS3, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots hasn't been re-released ever since. As a result, unless you own the third home console by Sony, you don't get to experience the franchise as a whole.
IGN asked Konami about this, and it seems the Japanese company has something in the works.
"We definitely are aware of this situation with MGS4. Unfortunately we can't really say too much at the moment with Vol. 1 containing MGS 1-3 dot dot dot… you can probably connect the dots!"
The publisher seems to be implying that Metal Gear Solid 4 will be part of the second collection after the one from October 2023. However, there's nothing official for now.
