Avowed devs believe their game doesn't need to run at 60 FPS

Avowed may be one of the most anticipated upcoming RPGs, but a little controversy has sweeped in. There are rumors making the rounds that point to the game only running at 30 FPS on Xbox Series X.

In a recent interview, Obsidian has touched on the subject... And it hasn't been really reassuring... The American company is obviously aiming for at least stable 30 FPS.

The devs feel that a first-person single-player title doesn't need 60 FPS. That's why Obsidian has been targeting 30 FPS since the start. Despite this, a 60 FPS performance mode may be included in the final steps of development.
