Concord has been eight years in development

Concord, PlayStation's new GAAS, launches on PS5 and PC this week. Lead character designer Jon Weisnewski has taken a brief trip down memory lane for the game's development.

On X.com, the main character designer has revealed that the title has been in development "for around 8 years". Weisnewski has been in his position for five of those eight years, and paid tribute to the Firewalk teams.

It remains to be seen whether Concord will find its audience after the cold reception the beta phases got.
