Nintendo is closing Animal Crossing: Poket Camp in favor of a paid version
, by Thibaut
Seven years after its release on iOS and Android, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp as we know it is going the way of the Dodo... sorta. The app will disappear from online stores on november 28, 2024.
That's when all the microtransactions and the optional monthly subscription will be gone. However, the game itself will be back with a new app.
This will be a paid one, but it will come with a number of advantages. There won't be any microtransactions, and you won't need an Internet connection to play anymore. That said, saves from the previous version of Pocket Camp will be supported.
