The fighting game Eternal Champions, released in 1993 on the Mega Drive, is getting a live-action film.
Derek Conolly, known for his work on Detective Pikachu and Jurassic World, is writing the screenplay. Production will be handled by Skydance and Toru Nakahara, who already worked on the Sonic films*
The project is still in its early stages, so we'll have to wait and see.
