Update 5.0 for Genshin Impact launches on August 28

Once again, Genshin Impact is set to get even more content via a major, fifth update. This is Flowers Resplendent on the Sun-Scorched Sojourn, coming to HoyoVerse's game on August 28, 2024.

We will get to explore Natlan, another Teyvat region and join forces with the local warriors there. This new zone hides many secrets to discover, tribes to meet and sumptuous landscapes to traverse.

New characters include Mualani, a five-star hydro. We got Kachina too, a four-star Geo character, and Kaedehara Kazuha. Added to this is the ability to surf thanks to new creatures, as well as climbing and digging tunels. Last but not least, the world level can be upped to nine.
