After Pentiment, Grounded, Sea of Thieves and Hi-Fi RUSH, Microsoft may be porting another of its exclusives to rival consoles.
On ResetEra, insider Shinobi602 has announced that a big Xbox game will land on PlayStation as early as next week. The announcement could come at Gamescom 2024, to be held from August 21 to 25.
As for which game it is, rumors initially pointed to Forza Horizon 5. However, Windows Central journalist Jez Corden explains that this won't be the racing game by Playground Games. He adds, however, that this does not mean that the fifth game won't end up coming over to other consoles.
So, we don't know the identity of this mysterious game to launch on PlayStation. Corden thinks it could be an older title such as Halo: Master Chief Collection, State of Decay 2 or Killer Instinct.
