Assassin's Creed "Codename Red" will have two playable characters

After Assassin's Creed Mirage, which will be released later this year, Ubisoft will unleash heavy artillery with much more ambitious titles for its flagship license. And this will start in 2024 with Codename Red, a game whose plot will take place in feudal Japan.

This week, the Insider Gaming website reveals some interesting details about the game. We know, for example, that two characters can be played. A female samurai and an African refugee who becomes a Shinobi. This episode will also focus on infiltration. We will be able to, among other things, hide corpses, hide in tall grass, turn off light sources, and much more.

The release of Codename Red is scheduled for the fall of 2024.
