Sonic Generations won't be available for standalone purchase from September 9
, by Thibaut
SEGA will be withdrawing the original Sonic Generations from online stores ahead of the launch of the new version, Sonic X Shadow Generations on October 25.
This will be effective starting September 9, 2024 on all platforms. Those who already own the game will still be able to download and play it.
However, Sonic Generations will still be available for purchase as a bundle with some other Sonic games, so it won't be entirely gone from stores.
