Warner Bros. is considering selling shares of its gaming division
, by Thibaut
Since the merger with Discovery in 2022, WarnerMedia has seen its share value plummet by 70%. The American company is looking for ways to offset this, and may be making some drastic decisions soon enough.
According to the Financial Times, Warner Bros. Discovery is reportedly looking to sell Polish broadcaster TVN or even stakes of its video games division. After all, the company is home to a dozen studios, including Avalanche Software, (Hogwarts Legacy), Rocksteady (Batman Arkham), NetherRealm (Mortal Kombat) and TT Games (LEGO).
It remains to be seen whether this decision will have any impact on projects currently in development or on the future of said developers.
