Nightingale developers aren't satisfied with the state of the game just yet

Available since last February, Nightingale launched in a bad, bad stante. Since then, the game has undergone a number of improvements, with bugs being fixed, lots of changes mades and even an offline mode added.

In a recent interview, Inflexion Games CEO Aaryn Flynn and audio and art director Neil Thomson look back on the game's journey. They also reveal that they are far from satisfied with the title, be it in the current state of it all, reviews or even number of players.

Since its release, Nightingale has only peaked at 47,569 simultaneous players on Steam, and the number has fallen to just a few hundred daily users in recent weeks. To remedy this, the studio plans to launch a major update towards the end of the summer.

This patch will bring new structures and clearer progression. The studio expects to add more precise objectives without ruining the game's sense of adventure.
