Activision banned over 65,000 Call of Duty players this week

Following Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III coming to Game Pass, a large number of cheaters ended up on the servers of the game. Activision admitted to the RICOCHET anti-cheating software not working as intended, too. It seems the software was unable to detect players who weren't respecting the rules.

Fortunately, the problem has been solved and RICOCHET is now working great. The American company has confirmed with proud that over 65,000 accounts have been banned across Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Warzone in just one week, both in ranked and standard play.
