We have some bad news regarding the Warhammer 40,000 film starring Henry Cavill. The adaptation may end up being cancelled before the year ends.
AS reported by IGN, Amazon holds the rights to the potential films and series based on the franchise. However, back in 2023, the American company teamed up with Games Workshop to bring these projects to life. The two companies had twelve months to agree on "creative guidelines" for the adaptations. Otherwise, they will end up being cancelled.
We're now five months from the deadline and nothing has been decided. Games Workshop isn't very confident, stating that fans will be kept informed on the consequences if this does not progress accordingly.
