New details on Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions game modes
, by Quentin
As we get ready to hop on our magical broomsticks in Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions on September 3 on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC, the devs at Unbroken Studios have released new details on the game modes available.
In a series of tweets, they reveal 6v6 matches. If you're playing solo, you'll be able to change between the 6 players on your team at will. However, in multiplayer, players will have to choose a combination of roles and will only be able to swap between the two chosen positions throughout the match while an AI takes control of the remaining role.
As for the career mode, you'll be able to play through 4 championship cups in solo mode. There's the Burrow Cup too, which teaches you the basics of flying and positioning.
They also point out that another cup is being kept secret for the time being, but once you've beaten your opponents, you'll be able to take part in the Quidditch World Cup as one of the 16 different nations, all the way from the qualifying rounds through to the grand finale.
Last but not least, there's the exhibition mode, which allows us and our group to create a Quidditch scenario based on what we've unlocked in our games via challenges so far. You can play with any team, against any team, in any difficulty, on any map.
