While Intel is facing numerous instability issues surrounding its 13th and 14th generation processors when exposed to high voltage, and despite the promise of a new version of the microcode to be available to motherboard manufacturers from mid-August, the company is already explaining that those problems won't go away with this.
The Verge had the opportunity to ask some questions to Intel directly. The company explained that they had no plans for a product recall for now, and that the problems don't affect just K models or i9s, but all the 13th and 14th generation models when used at a power of 65W or more.
