The Xbox 360 Marketplace closes for good today
, by Thibaut
Here's a new chapter for Xbox gamers all around the world. Back in August 2023, Microsoft announced the definitive closure of the Xbox 360 Marketplace on July 29, 2024.
Alas, the sad day is finally upon us, and many games that were only available on the American comapny's second console are disappearing with it. Only backward-compatible Xbox 360 titles can still be purchased though.
After 19 years of loyal service, it's time to bid farewell to the Marketplace.
