LG will launch its first 34" MyView WQHD smart monitor in August

LG is set to launch its very first smart monitor, the LG MyView 34R65QC, this very August.

Featuring a 34" curved VA panel with WQHD resolution (3440 x 1440), 300 nits and 99% of sRGB color gamut coverage, the screen should feature some beautiful quality in a 21:9 aspect ratio.

When we say MyView, we mean that the monitor comes with the LG webOS platform, which provides access to numerous services such as Netflix, YouTube and Prime Video. ThinQ is also here, meaning you can manage many things in your home from it.

The company has said the following:

"By expanding the LG MyView Smart Monitor lineup with our new 34-inch curved UltraWide model, we are providing consumers with a comprehensive productivity and entertainment solution."

"We will continue to introduce versatile smart monitors that combine innovative designs with premium performance and practical features."

We're hoping for a more gaming-oriented model in the future, with features and technologies geared towards the video game experience. For the time being, LG has yet to comment on this.
