Rockstar almost ported The Warriors to the Game Boy Advance

Inspired by the film of the same name and available since 2005 on consoles of the time, The Warriors is one of the most obscure games in the Rockstar Games catalog. Despite this, the title has garnered its own loyal community of fans, who could have enjoyed the game on an unexpected platform.
Indeed, according to a former employee of the studio who wished to keep their identity undisclosed, there was a Game Boy Advance version of the game that ended up being cancelled just before release.
"We were going for four-player co-op using the link cable and stuff. We finished the game. It was actually fuking fun to play. But there it sits never to be released because that’s when the PSP was gaining momentum and we weren’t really seeing good returns on Nintendo. Nintendo at the time didn’t like promoting M-rated games. We were comfortable in Sony land, so we went with The Warriors direct port on PSP."
Finally, the main party involved added that there was a port of Bully in top view for the DS in the works, but it ended being abandoned too.
