ASUS announces the Azoth Extreme gaming keyboard

ASUS has just announced its new gaming keyboard, the Azoth Extreme. While we still don't know anything about the price or release date, the company has revealed some of its technical specifications.

Let's start with the design, sober but quite attractive, made of an aluminum alloy chassis and metal frame, offering a premium feel per the brand. It also features a carbon-fiber positioning plate that delivers a crisp typing feel and keeps key vibration to a minimum.

You can also choose between hard and soft typing with a toggle at will. This peripheral also features an OLED touchscreen in the top right corner, which displays the system information and keyboard settings.

The Azoth Extreme reaches a polling rate of 8,000 Hz when used with the ROG Polling Rate Booster, while providing up to 1,600 hours of battery life.

Last but not least, it features tri-mode connectivity, allowing you to use it with Bluetooth, ROG SpeedNova 2.4 GHz RF wireless technology or standard USB.
