Mafia 4 is still in pre-production

Last May, Hangar 13 was hit by a major wave of layoffs. But the studio behind the Mafia franchise is indeed working on a fourth installment. And this one is making headlines once again.

If we believe a job offer posted on the LinkedIn social network, the studio is looking to recruit a "Tools Engineer". The recruited person will have to create and maintain the tools of a "cross-platform game currently unannounced in pre-production on Unreal Engine 5". It's very likely that this is referring to Mafia 4.
