AMD could improve the Ryzen 7 9700X by increasing the clock speed

AMD is back in the spotlight once again with a new rumor: the company could revamp the Ryzen 7 9700X processor by increasing its TDP from 65 W to 120 W.

But that's not all: the base and boost clock speeds could also see some improvements.

Just announced at the Taipei Computex, this processor is said to feature 8 cores, 16 threads and a base clock frequency of 3.8 GHz and up to 5.5 GHz when boosted. What's more, it would still be based on Zen 4 architecture.
