Patent reveals what the Xbox Keystone might have looked like

Originally announced in 2021 under the name "Keystone", this device was an Xbox all about streaming games to their TV or monitor without the need for the true hardware.

Unfortunately, the project was shelved due to a number of problems, not least of which was managing to produce it at a low enough cost to be able to sell it at the price the company wanted.

However, a patent from June 2022, revealed by Windows Central, shows how Microsoft saw this very special Xbox at the time. It hadan HDMI, Ethernet and a power button on the rear, as well as a pairing button for the controller on the right-hand side. Finally, if we turn our attention to the underside, we see a circular plate similar to that found on the Xbox Series X.

Will this project be back in any form? For the time being, we don't know. To do so, Microsoft must resolve the cost issue, as the company wanted to sell this for between $99 and $129.
