The sequel to the Super Mario Bros. film will be released in April 2026

Nintendo has given more details about the next movie starring our favorite plumber. In a message posted on social networks, Shigeru Miyamoto confirmed the release date of the film in Japan.
Mario's new movie is coming to Japanese cinemas on April 24, 2026. We can safely assume that it will come to the West during that same month. Last but not least, studio Ilummination will once again be directing the film.
