The Banana game has reached 830,000 simultaneous players... but most are bots

It should come as no surprise that Steam is home to some really weird games on its virtual shelves. One of them is Banana, a game in which you have to click on a banana to get even more bananas. Riveting! You also get special skins for the fruit during the game.
According to SteamDB, this free title released in April has recorded a peak of over 834,000 simultaneous players. Sadly, this is only due to bots, which of course inflate the figures.
Indeed, the devs have explained that since the game uses less than 1% of a computer's resources, some have created fake accounts, launching the game several times in hopes of getting the rarest skins and then resell them, as those can sometimes see their prices skyrocket.
