A fan overclocks his Nintendo Switch and achieves 60 FPS on some games
, by Quentin
This isn't the first time someone has decided to overclock their Nintendo Switch. It's a pretty technical process, and therefore not for everyone, but it's amazing what the hybrid can achieve.
This enthusiast shared his results on YouTube. By modifying his system with 8 GB RAM, a CPU overclocked to a maximum of 2703 MHz and a GPU at a maximum of 1497 MHz, he manages to deliver 60 frames per second consistently on games such as Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Red Dead Redemption, Monster Hunter Rise, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
However, Dragon Quest XI S struggles to surpass 30 fps even with an overclocked system.
