It's fair to say that a while ago, Nintendo had no competition in the handheld market, but now we're experiencing a tidal wave, with numerous companies jumping on the wagon to compete with each other.
Today, the Compuxe 2024 has been the stage for the announcement of the Zotac Zone. Let's take a look at what we know about it.
First of all, the screen: we know that it comes with a 7-inch Amoled panel with 1080p resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. For the processor, the company has opted for AMD's Ryzen 7 7840U, backed up by 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB NVMe SSD, with an additional microSD slot if you need more space.
Where the machine seems to fall short is in its 48.5 Wh battery, which means that the Zotac Zone shouldn't last more than 1h30 in play. It will run under Windows 11 and should weigh in at 700 g.
As for its release, the brand has announced that it is scheduled for between August and September 2024, at a price of around $800.
