Intel reveals more details about the Lunar Lake processors at a private meeting

Intel though it was fine to tell secrets to selected media and analysts behind closed doors, but the dams have busted and the information has found its way to social networks.
It seems the Skymont core boasts a double-digit IPC win over its predecessor, the Crestmont. This means that the cores currently present in the Intel Core Ultra 100 series should soon be replaced by Skymonts in the Core Ultra 200 series, which includes Lunar Lake and Arrow Lake processors.
Nevertheless, we don't know the exact IPC improvement figure just yet. However, we should see the first laptops with Lunar Lake processors as early as October 2024.
