AMD could be changing the name of the Strix Points APUs to Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 and Ryzen AI 9 365
, by Quentin
Several Chinese sources are pointing to significant changes when it comes to AMD's naming strategy for its next-gen APU's, the Strix Point. Though it was first going to carry the Ryzen AI 100 series, it seems this has changed to the Ryezn AI 300 series. If this truly ends up being the case, the next APUs are going to be called Ryzen AI 9 HX and Ryzen AI 9 365.
This is to better represent the technological advances of the products. The new processors will feature a Dual Compute Complex (CCX) design with up to 4 Zen5 cores and 8 Zen5c cores and a 24 MB L3 cache.
In terms of graphics, these will be come with up to 16 computing units based on RDNA 3.5 architecture.
