Neil Druckmann says Sony edited his answers about Naughty Dog's next game

This past week, Sony posted an interview with Neil Druckmann on its website. on it, Naughty Dog's president expressed his ambition for the studio's next game, saying he wanted to "redefine mainstream perceptions of gaming" with the new title.
Some called out the creator of The Last of Us as being pretentious. Well aware of the controversy his words arose, Druckmann explained himself on social media, stating that he had been misquoted by Sony.
"In editing my rambling answers in my recent interview with SONY, some of my words, context, and intent were unfortunately lost."
Druckmann was referring to a shift in the mainstream perception of video games thanks to series like The Last of Us or Fallout, and not Naughty Dog's upcoming title.
