Naughty Dog believes its next game can redefine mainstream perceptions of gaming

Naughty Dog hasn't offered a single new game since the release of The Last of Us Part II in June 2020. We've had to make do with a remake of the first entry, a remaster of the second one and a TV adaptation.

This hasn't stopped Neil Druckmann, the studio's president and chief creative officer, from showing real ambition for his next game In an inverview on Sony's web, the dev has mentioned the eagerly awaited-title.

"I've been lucky to work on several dream projects and am currently excited about a new one, which is perhaps the most thrilling yet [...] I'm eager to see how this new game resonates, especially following the success of The Last of Us, as it could redefine mainstream perceptions of gaming."

We don't know if this one is going to be a new IP or The Last of Us Part III, as some may have hinted.
